Dr. J. Philip Arnold

Director of Reunion Institute
With a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Rice University, Dr. Arnold has dedicated his career to exploring the intersections of history, religion, philosophy, and culture. He has held teaching positions at prestigious institutions, such as Rice University and the University of Houston, and numerous research organizations. A recognized expert in worldview ideology and cultural conflicts, he has advised the FBI during the Montana Freemen Standoff, addressed the U.S. House of Representatives, and appeared on major national television programs to advocate for religious freedom and the First Amendment. His extensive community service, successful grant writing (including a major grant from the Texas Committee for the Humanities), and published works underscore a lifelong commitment to fostering intercultural dialogue, community development, and public understanding of complex spiritual issues.
